I helped with this procedure in highschool with FFA. I can't remember how old the pigs were, but they definitely took two strapping young lads to to hold while a third did the cutting!
I grew up on a pig farm, and am one person who can identify that smell 🤣😁 Thank you for sharing your brave experience with us. Those grown pigs really can be terrifying, and their noses really are that strong! We had many gates bent through the years when I was doing 4-H.
I loved every second of this. The lines about the dormant swear words and the two last standing after an apocalypse had me laughing out loud. You are one brave woman!
You have James Herriot potential, Sarah!
Thank you ! 😉
Truly!
Is the truck okay, though?
I read this against my will - like not being able to look away from a car wreck. Amazing writing. Truly horrifying read. Well done.
Held my breath through this whole thing. Thank you for bringing us into this!
Haha I felt like I should apologize for bringing you into it !

I don’t think a picture will work via comments, so I added one to the story! 😉
I wasn’t sure if this pic would be tmi for the post but here’s a little size reference ! 😬 definitely a difficult task
It show up in my notifications but somehow disappears on the actual comment 🤷♂️

"So dear reader, if you’ve ever felt incredibly unpraiseworthy in the pursuit of basic skills, I would challenge you to a battle of disasters..."
This was a fun ride.
