Sarah, your writing always shines with such practical beauty. My tired third trimester, chasing toddlers all day self needed this. Thank you.

Your garlic, bees, the new calf—its all so lovely. What a blessing. I love this theme too. Having someone to feed is such a gift. I have been in a bit of a slump with hosting and cooking, and this was just the bit of grit I needed to joyfully fix dinner. ❤️ Thank you, Sarah.

I know I’m only seeing glimpses here and there, and reading your words, but it seems like you truly try to bring beauty into every corner of your home/family life. Loved this one!

So encouraging! And please give us more photos of the little calf!

Loved it. Especially the watermelon juice dripping down the cabinets.

Love everything about this. That watermelon juice deserves a whole poem.

Such an encouraging reminder (and timely for me personally). Love the C.S. Lewis anecdote. Thank you for writing, Sarah.

Beautiful reminder! We don't need a trad wife label to see cooking as a spiritual gift. ❤️

Many hungry mouths, many hands to hold, many minds to teach, many snuggles in the sofa. There are upsides to every "downside".

Thanks for the timely reminder.

I have been fighting some self pity, which is trying to make some tough situations even harder, and I needed this reminder that the work we are doing is good work! It is even our calling! I keep noticing how doing the work feels better than not doing the work, but the relentlessness of that next meal comes faster every time a teenager has another birthday. 🤣 Thank you for writing this with such grace. I know you are under grace because I was strengthened reading it.
